  • Two girls playing

Edited to add another photo – of the girls’ ventures into polymer clay.  They did quite well, with little to no help from me.

Second edit: Jennie and Rachel are the daughters of my nieces Cathy and Robin, respectively. Robin and Cathy are Hazel’s oldest and middle daughters. Got that, Jane?

Jennie and Rachel haven’t had school for the past couple of days and they’ve been hangin’ here.  This morning they asked to take my camera outside for a bit.

    Here’s the result:

Not bad considering it was a self-portrait for one of them. :)

Then we have Jennie on one of Uncle Faron’s bikes:

And then Rachel giving her … well, it makes me think of when Jason used to run around the house, throwing up his leg in a karate type kick and yelling, “Hun foonya HAH!”

And then each of them took a “spin” on the tractor, it seems.

    Jennie:

    Rachel:

They’ve been great – helpful and they get along so well.  And clean up after themselves, too.  What more could a proud aunt want?  And they both had excellent report cards.

EDIT: The girls were here yesterday, too, and worked all morning to cover Altoid tins.  Due to our very own series of unfortunate events, the covers burned nearly to a cinder.  We ripped that off and today they tried again, with brilliant success, if I do say so as a proud auntie.

The pink one is Jennie’s and the blue is Rachel’s.  The ones yesterday were very similar.

Both girls applied Liquid clay to make the clay stick this second time, Jennie applying large amounts.  We had PRY it open!

    We all had fun.

  • I did approve I repeat I did approve. Rachy

  • Cool boxes! Love the dolphin and the butterflies. Wish I could drive the tractor.
Hey, we’ll be in Williamsport next weekend, d.v.; we’re staying at Country Cupboard and going to Lycoming Centre for church.

  • Lynne, I wrote to PG and told him that except for the few hours we’ll all be at Hazel’s for the Egg Hunt at 3 on Easter Sunday, I’ll be home. (HINT)

    Hugs!

PS We’ll even let you drive the tractor!

  • Sorry I will miss you this year at the traditional Gordon invasion of Hepburnville.  I finally gave in and got myself a new computer, and it is loaded!  So no more computer issues.  It is a Dell XPS with live TV cable feed, and DVD burner.  I finally have room for the seven days worth of music I have.

I will miss you all, keep praying!

  • Hey, you finally got some good pics of Rachel!!!

Glad you got a new computer Dave!

Will miss you all at Easter. I have to stay here and go to church. My pastor is making me!!!:) Though he is awfully cute!!!

I may come to Williamsport on Dad’s birthday–he will be there preaching I believe.

  • Again, Liz…you know where I live…

    Hugs!

  • Cindy is closer to the Mormons than to the Presbyterians.

Interpret that as you wish.  : )

  • You are a piece of work.

And yes, the Mormons are across the street, while the Presbyterians are down the hill across the road and around a couple of corners, unless you’re not averse to trespassing and will cut through Germania.

  • Those are some cute girls.

I know we’re fairly close to the Mormons, but really the Mennonites are much much closer (next door).
